Organized professional skills are required to start and end an event successfully and effectively. Before starting any event either at small level or big level, you have to read the mind of your client. What he wants? In how much he wants? Where he wants and when he wants?
For all of this you have to do negotiation. Negotiation means talk and dialogue between two people to reach at some common summit and goal. The agreement and compromise that is made between two parties is to get advantage on collective basis.

Good communication skills are required to deal with client. Listening to others is building block of communication skills. Without good listening skills in event planning meeting you will go on the way which has no end. Show balance body language and facial expression while negotiation. Talking too much, not listening to other and no eye contact will be totally unprofessional approach of the meeting. Create a Powerful and sound impact on your client. . Before you do discussion and negotiation with your client keep following things in your mind.
Before meeting
• According to your priority level make a list of things that you need to ask and discuss with your client. If you won’t have any list or long list of extra details that will be total waste of time. Think about all complimentary item of your event and have a dialogue.
• Concentrate your budget. Do include all the minor costs in budget and then have a conversation with your client. Don’t forget to mention your fee and labor charges; don’t be unprofessional while discussing the budget. You have to make some middle way of cost where you and your client agree upon.
During meeting:
• Avoid any type of, quarrel, disagreement and fight. You have to gain the point which is favorable for both parties. What will be venue? Where will be venue? Any need of guests room during event? From where to hire catering services? What will be menu? The more services you will offer your client better will be end contract and agreement.
• Don’t make the decisions at the spot. You have to come your office discuss with other staff members, think on it and then make a conclusion that will be advantageous for all.
• Before signing any type of deal and agreement do read it carefully. Pay your full attention what exactly written on the piece of paper. Check all particulars about money, profit and loss.
• Show flexibility in your deal as for example you hire some hotel for event and at time client don’t like it or any service that client want to dismiss then be flexible about any change that your client need at that time. Do mention about changes on your deal.
• If you have any problem on money during the deal then tell your client about any second choice you have. That will create competition and helpful for you to get fee and charges as your desire to organize an event.
