If risks will be involved during the event and you won’t take prior actions that will be total failure of your event. Make sure that people sitting, standing, eating and enjoying the event are not involved in any type of risk which can be fatal to their lives and health.  Different risks are involved during an event people do abusive things, using fire crackers, traffic accidents, wall fall down, stage collapse etc

Risk management process consists of:

  • The initial risk assessment
  • The  Risk Controlling body
  • An Emergency  Plan
  • Traffic controlling Plan
  • Waste dispose off Plan
  • Site safety plan
  • Type of event either indoor or outdoor

Safety measures are:

  • Collaboration and proper skill of workers

Organization System

Make planned management systems for each segment of the event to make sure health and safety measures are in full control. If the people gathering at public event are greater, then immediately use your risk plan structure and implement it.

Synchronization among staff

Do check about the coordination and collaboration among the staff members. Don’t consider yourself responsible for all failure of technical work. Rather check that all staff members are working in described manner to fulfill their duties and task to control all risk factors and sudden accidents.

Guideline 

Provide your employee, sponsors, and coordinators about all important information about the risk they can face to their lives and health. Provide full security guideline you have prepared. Do this as the part of other work that you do daily with your employees.

Tell your workers that when they will come to event site following will be threats and risks:

  • site danger and exposure
  • hidden services such as electric cables, lights and fire
  •  speed limits for safety
  • where they can safely park their cars
  • first aid box, fire alarms
  • weather  news

Capability

Staff should be capable to perform and play their role in safe, secure and protected manner. Better and competent supervision should be there for staff members to tell them about the risk level involved in each and every step of work.

 

Checking and Evaluate

You should check all the risk arrangements frequently and then test them again and again to see either they are working or not. Assign duties to all staff members what they have to perform and do at time of risk. For small events using a check list will assist you to check risk levels. For larger events, such as carnivals, make a group of people and tell them their responsibilities and monitoring role.
