As an event manager you have to take care about your employees and team members. If nobody is complaining about anything, it’s not a good sign. There may be number of reasons and issues that are running in the minds of employees and they are not sharing with you. Or maybe they tried to approach you and you react as a defensive.

The environment of the office will be really disturbing if you will ask the employee to keep their mouths shut all the time. Keep the channel of communication opened for all members equally.

Employee will always hide from you when they will be looking for some new job. Sometimes by giving a short notice they will leave the job in few days. They must be looking for some new positions. Try to cover all the barriers of dissatisfaction between you and employee and don’t let them to come at the point where they will leave the job.

Don’t let your employee to engage in some non important and ordinary work. They will show you that they are busy for the whole day for nothing. And employee will be happy for easy work and don’t ask for the new work and complete their day with ordinary useless task. Challenge them with creative, dynamic and fruitful work according to their mental abilities.

Every employee has weakness and strengths. And it’s alwaysdangerous to tell the employee about their dark spots in front of all. If they do any type of mistake, call them separately in some room and do open communication in non defensive way. Try to avoid any type of favoritism in the working environment. If some of your employee is relative or close friend then try not to prefer them always. Take care of the morale of other employees as well. You are a boss and manager of your team, giving them sometime for rest and relax is your key responsibility. Let them have a break, drink and eat. This will fresh up their minds for the next task and they will work with more enthusiasm and eagerness. You should also join them during the refreshment session to create a socializing and friendly environment for work.

If you assign any type of task to employee then give full credit and appreciation to employee. Don’t let them think ever that their task was ordinary and common. Give them good understanding that you like the performance. Show them full knowledge and give them confidence. If your employee comes to ask you few important questions and quires and you are checking some mail and talking to someone else on phone, then are you listening to him? Are you giving him full attention? Your employee needs your undirected and full concentration.
