Call for nomination for the 2027 L'Oreal-UNESCO International Award for Women in Science - June 2026

The call for nomination of the 2027 International Awards under the the L'Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science Programme has been launched. Five outstanding women researchers in the field of Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science will receive the award of 100,000 EUROS for their contribution to advances in scientific research.


Deadline: 20 June 2026

The L'Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science Programme was started in 1998, and by now, it has already honoured 142 women. Out of these 142, seven have also won the Nobel Prize.


Scientists worldwide are invited to nominate candidates for the 2027 International Awards, and an international jury of eminent scientists will make the final selection.
